Cabling is installed once and then hidden behind walls and ceilings for 15 years or more. Mistakes made during installation are expensive to fix later, which is why the cheapest quote is often the most costly decision.
Design before you install
A proper design counts every outlet, plans containment routes and leaves room for growth. It should also specify the cable category (such as Cat6A) and fibre type for backbone links.
Use one certified system
Mixing cable, connectors and patch panels from different manufacturers can void warranties and reduce performance. A single certified system, installed by trained technicians, qualifies for the manufacturer's long-term warranty.
Test and certify every link
Every copper and fibre link should be tested with a calibrated certifier and the results handed over. Without test reports, you have no proof that the network performs as specified.
Label and document
Clear labelling at both ends and as-built drawings save hours on every future move, add or change.
